Bunjo’s Comedy Club now open in the East Bay

Bunjo’s Comedy Club is now open in the East Bay, located inside The Willow Tree Restaurant at 6513 Regional Street in Dublin.
John DeKoven, the new club’s owner, has been producing comedy shows at various restaurants and bars around the Bay Area since 2005. The club will begin with Friday night shows, and hopes to be open Thursday- Sunday by April. The first month of shows will feature Jackie Kashian (Last Comic Standing), Jeff Applebaum (Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson), Mickey Joseph (The Rat Pack), as well as a comedy competition on Thursdays beginning March 5th. Sundays will feature a night of “squeaky clean” comedy aimed at families.
Interesting tidbit: Bunjo’s is located just a few miles away from Tommy T’s in Pleasanton, where DeKoven used to produce a weekly showcase before he had a falling out with the club.
