Comedy Day In Golden Gate Park
September 27th, 2008 | San Francisco ComedyOn Sunday, September 28th, Sharon Meadow in Golden Gate Park will be home to Comedy Day, featuring 30 comedians from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The event began in 1981 and since then has seen more than 500 world-class comics perform for over a half-million people, free of charge. The event itself is a non-profit organization and this year the line-up is presented by Cobb’s Comedy Club, The Punch Line, SF Sketchfest, Pepperbelly’s and Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club - not to mention the friends of Jose Simon, the founder of Comedy Day.
Performers for this year’s show include Doug Ferrari, Drennon Davis, Brent Weinbach, Kurt Weitzmann and Marga Gomez.
