The 2008 SF International Comedy Competition has begun
September 11th, 2008 | San Francisco ComedyLast night was the opening night of the 33rd Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition, one of the oldest and most prestigious comedy competitions in the country. Past competitors include Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Ellen Degeneres, Patton Oswalt, Dane Cook, Steven Wright, Roseanne Barr, and many more. The winner takes home $10,000.
Below are the results from opening night, held at the Purple Onion. These comics will compete in a total of 6 shows, then 5 will move on to the semi-final round. There’s a second group of round 1 comics that will begin competing on September 17th. Got all that?
